HIGH STREET, POOLE

This project is a complete renovation of an old bar/nightclub on Poole high street being converted into apartments.

We conducted an initial evaluation of the existing flat roof area on the building's main roof. We chose a new warm roof and felt system for a complete connection because the main roof was adjoined to the neighboring roof in the middle and the neighboring roof had been completed in felt bitumen. The roof falls had previously been established in the roof structure, allowing us to install a flat insulation board while yet maintaining proper water flow. We used a self-adhered vapor control layer, 140mm PIR insulation, Strata Base felt layer, and Strata Pro M cap sheet felt system to cover the previous felt covering. Work on the outlets and leads was also part of the project. We'll be working on three flat new construction roofs later this year, with some mono-pitch roofing features thrown in for good measure.
